Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-03-02

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of PreCodeX services (“we”, “us”) provided remotely. By requesting support, you agree to these Terms.

1) Services

PreCodeX provides website rescue and technical support services, including diagnosis, troubleshooting, repairs, security cleanup, and performance fixes. Work is performed remotely and typically requires cooperation such as access to hosting/admin panels.

2) Scope & estimates

We confirm scope before starting paid work. Any time/cost estimates are best-effort and may change if new issues are discovered. If scope changes, we will inform you before proceeding.

3) Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the issue and what changed last.
  • Provide access needed to perform work (hosting, CMS admin, DNS, etc.) when required.
  • Ensure you have permission to authorize changes to the website/systems.
  • Maintain backups if possible; if no backups exist, risk is higher and recovery may be limited.

4) Payment

Payment terms are agreed per case. For many jobs, payment is requested after scope confirmation and/or after completion (or by milestone for larger recoveries). Payment methods may include bank transfer, PayPal, and Bitcoin (BTC), as offered.

5) Refunds

For small jobs: if we cannot reproduce the problem or deliver a clear actionable plan, you do not pay. For larger recoveries: work may be milestone-based; completed milestones are non-refundable. Third-party costs (licenses, hosting fees, paid tools) are non-refundable.

6) Security & access

You may share credentials through secure means. We recommend creating temporary credentials and removing them after the work is completed. We do not accept responsibility for credential exposure caused by insecure sharing methods chosen by the client.

7) Limitations of liability

We provide services on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for outages or losses caused by third parties (hosting providers, registrars, CDN/WAF providers, plugin/theme vendors), nor for pre-existing conditions on compromised systems. Indirect or consequential damages are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8) Termination

Either party may stop the engagement at any time. You are responsible for payment of completed work and agreed milestones up to termination.

9) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown on this page is the current version.
